  • "Just a few words as way of thanks to the team IES have had on Filton site completing lift and shift activities following the recent auction sales, a small team have been on site for more than a week now and they have remained polite, helpful to myself and others, prompt to action and listened to any issues highlighted. I have no reservations in recommending this group to others within BAE for any future works.
    Many thanks to all involved."

  • "APS Group was presented with a challenge to produce, supply and refit 2800x automotive showrooms across Europe with expensive and delicate showroom materials as part of a major new look and feel revamp exercise. With the safe transit of these showroom items being of the utmost importance, we engaged with IES to develop a bespoke crate to best suit the way in which we could achieve the safest possible transit, utilising road freight. We received on-site visits to APS right from the offset, helping with the design and subsequent drawings, until it was agreed to provide some prototypes, the first was correct and agreed upon. APS had limited space to accommodate the number of crates required for the project and IES worked with us in terms of working out a production and supply timetable. Due to rollout issues from our customer, we experienced many delays and IES on many occasions had to re-arrange their production schedules to accommodate us, to which we have been extremely grateful. On the back of the initial success, which IES have clearly contributed to, we are now 2 years into the contract and working on other projects with our customer!"

    - Paul Cairns, APS Group

  • "Throughout the period we have consistently been impressed with the service provided by IES and the level of knowledge, insight and professional manner in which they communicate with ourselves and our customers. The services include “Just in time logistics, hand-carry & express shipping to/from Dialog customers, offices and suppliers within Asia and Europe. This includes close in-transit monitoring, daily updates and tracking. At Dialog we are very reliant on our global “just-in-time” delivery schedule and found the high level of specialist expertise displayed by IES has resulted in minimum disruption to our delivery schedule. IES also have the great advantage that they also have an in-house equipment moving and packing division, which has been helpful for us on a few occasions. We are very happy to have IES as a partner and have no hesitation in recommending IES services to other companies."

  • "IES were brought to site to remove certain assets at Somerdale destined to remain in the business. The destinations were as close as Crediton, Bournville and Banbury to as far as Bahrain and India. The onsite manager for IES was Greg King who from day 1 approached the task with a professional manner and was always upfront and honest with his requests, thoughts and comments. The IES Site team was quickly assembled and were found to be friendly and able. Throughout the project we made sure that IES worked to our standards as a producing food factory, even though we had completed production requirements. We were still removing assets to be re used in our other sites we wanted to maintain our hygiene standards. This was difficult for the IES team to take in as all they saw was a stopped environment and did not understand. As a team though they all took our rules on board and worked accordingly. Obviously not everything went to plan but when a problem occurred, IES did not shy away and hide. They always looked for ways to get the task complete in a safe and easy manner. When we had requests for help IES also pitched in to help us out by moving loads etc. IES completed the project with a very good safety record as well. All equipment used on site was PAT Tested, load tested etc. and all operatives had the required training to undertake all tasks required. IES were also very good in the overseas delivery dealing with all the paperwork etc. for international transportation. This was all carried out from their office in Avonmouth. If I was to run a project again that involved asset removal, transportation and even re-installing I would certainly contact IES for a quotation."

    - Kevin, Cadburys/Kraft Foods
  • "It was clear at the start of the project that in order for Xaar to successfully relocate its Swedish manufacturing division to the UK within the agreed time, cost & quality constraints, we would need the services of a professional, competent & diligent company to manage the entire 'lift & shift' element of the project. Xaar conducted an in-depth review of the market and after a detailed bid process including many of the UK's premier relocation companies; the overwhelming choice was to award the 18 month contract to IES. IES have proven to be an excellent choice of business partner and have provided Xaar with the required 'comfort & credibility' required on this important relocation project."

    - Rod, Xaar
  • "We thank you very much for your support. Congratulations to your team for the work that has been done."

    - Didier, Semco Engineering Ltd.
  • "About you, thank you for your professionalism, the successful completion of this project and very good relationship between our both companies."

    - Bernard, Photowatt EDF
  • "I’d like to say a big thank you for your support throughout this period and it’s been a pleasure working with you.

IES were contracted to remove all manufacturing equipment from the BD Labware division at the main Plymouth BD manufacturing site and ship overseas. The IES team, and in particular Greg King, played a key role in the success of the project, supporting the project team in planning and executing the timely and safe removal of production lines from an environmentally controlled operational manufacturing area without impacting adjacent BD operations. CDM areas were set up and controlled by IES with clear procedures and policies in place ensuring plant deliveries, equipment disconnection, equipment packing & removal, waste disposal, and good housekeeping were managed appropriately.

Greg regularly communicated progress reports, daily activities and offered solutions to any deviations from the plan. All IES staff acted in a professional and supportive manner throughout the project, following site policies and procedures at all times, effectively liaising with the project & technical teams and managing local subcontractors.

Greg and his team played their part in making this project a success, and IES would be my contractor of choice on any similar project.

Many thanks to Greg and the IES team."

    - Paul Thomas, Becton Dickinson
